Pros

CollegeWeekLive is the type of company we all hope to work at. In addition to a fast-paced, fun atmosphere where both work and play are cherished. Goals are steep, but doable, work can be tiring but is also rewarding. Everyone from an intern up to the senior management team are selected carefully to fit in with the company culture, and as a result, it an environment filled with collaboration and friendships rather than competition and cut-throat politics.

Cons

As with any company in start-up or small business mode, CollegeWeekLive has some growing pains, like the need for a larger conference room and kitchen - but it these are hardly deal breakers as an employees.

Advice to Management

Continue to foster your relationships with employees and keep up the good work.

    Pros

This is a great place for someone who just graduated college, or who is looking to gain more experience in their desired field. The team is very friendly, and everyone is willing to help each other. If you're interested in dipping your toes into different areas, the company encourages you to try it out (and it's small enough that it's possible to do so). The leadership is great--the president and CEO make it a point to form personal connections with each employee, and they are more than willing to address people's questions, concerns, or ideas for improving the company. My experience here has been nothing but positive so far!

    Cons

CollegeWeekLive faces many of the usual challenges that come with operating a small startup. Days of major events (and leading up to it) can be hectic and demanding, but manageable as long as the appropriate amount of preparation is done beforehand. Lastly, there were some big organizational changes that led to the restructuring of the team in the beginning of this year, but the effects were positive and I feel that the company has only benefitted since those changes were made.

    Pros

The people you work day to day with are awesome. Everyone willing to help.

    Cons

Micromanagement at every turn. No trust in sales people. No clear direction on where the company wants to go.
