I have been working at Colliers International full-time

Pros

For a global organization, the feel and atmosphere is the of a small company. They utilize technology to the fullest to gain efficiencies and work as if a start-up.

Cons

It is a small company and when people leave it is noticed and it seems there have been many people leaving, but not sure why.

I have been working at Colliers International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I've held four different roles at Colliers and each time I was looking for a new challenge (or when a senior leader had a new challenge for me) I had an opportunity to increase my responsibilities and skills. The people really care about each other and strive to collaborate. There is no "average day."

    Cons

It's not the right place for people who are complacent, want to just punch a clock, or would prefer a thorough manual on how to do their jobs. Your career is what you make of it here, so you either dive in passionately or will soon find others have surpassed you.

    Advice to Management

Many of the senior leaders are not only good managers, but exceptional people in their own right. Even though the organization is growing rapidly, it's possible for junior staff to speak directly to the top leaders. My advice is to keep that collegiality through the growth.

I have been working at Colliers International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Kansas City location employees are easy to work with in most cases and will listen to almost all sugestions from other employees

    Cons

Pay scale for Building Engineers could be a little better

    Advice to Management

Remember that your greatest asset in the company is your people who work under you. if you don't talk with them and take care of them, then the system breaks down.
