I have been working at Columbia University as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Meet amazing professors and work at an awesome campus
Lots of extra free food left over from various functions.
    Good pay

    Cons

    Lots of boring admin work
Sometimes professors are not the most socially adept people in the world and can come across as unnecessarily demanding on illogical tasks

I have been working at Columbia University part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You can learn much more for that course, and improve your teaching ability. You also can learn a lot form students' questions. Working as a assistant of the professor is also a good experience in student life.

    Cons

Salary is a little bit low. As not good as before. But the workload is the same. Sometimes there are some students disputing their grades of HW or exams, sometimes it's hard to handle difficult situations.
