Have a more balanced approach to your employees; value more than just senior management and the techs.

    I worked at Comcast full-time

    Pros

    Pay and benefits are good.

    Cons

Salesforce has become the corporate big brother. No work life balance. Not enough support for back end order processing and all task become the salespersons. Design engineers are overloaded and have to many reps to handle the volume. Construction does not follow through with site surveys. It is basically like you are doing 5 peoples jobs and your own at the same time.

    Advice to Management

Work pro actively with your team and learn the processes. Numbers are not going to increase if you only care about your self.

I worked at Comcast full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Benefits were great
    Compensation was competitive
    Great work/life balance
    Good people to work with

    Cons

Divisional leadership rushes through change without thinking of all the impact
Very secretive with big decisions often times not involving local leadership until after decisions are made
    Hard to use billing software

    Advice to Management

Standardize field practices across all markets prior to standardizing customer service operations and Involve all the stakeholders before making big decisions. They can often tell you exactly what the impact will be like and help you plan for the worst.
