I worked at Comcast as a contractor (More than 3 years)

Pros

Large, successful growing company. Very optimistic.

Cons

They have not integrated all the grow which causes chaos.

Advice to Management

You talk about equal opportunities. All the grey hair in Comcast center either belongs to people who have been with Comcast for a while or they were Contractor IDs. I do not know why AARP gave you credit for non-discrimination.

I have been working at Comcast full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Give you all the equipment you need to succeed give bonuses and let you take truck home with good benifits

    Cons

When making a decent amount of money they find any reason to let you go take all your time and bleed you for everything not loyal they just care about revenue

    Advice to Management

Need to change some policies firing good workers for small problems and keeping the ones who does bigger problems aint right

I worked at Comcast full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The people who work there are great. Fantastic benefits package. Management can be nimble and effective if they feel an employee idea will help the company.

    Cons

Can be exceptionally repetitive. Often times, customers will ask questions about topics you don't have any information about. You shift can be changed without a great deal of notice to something that you are not comfortable with.

    Advice to Management

There is no feel for how difficult a job it is to answer the phones day after day. Communication needs to filter down from the top more efficiently and in a much greater volume than it currently does. Need a little more flexibility in terms of shift scheduling.
