I worked at Comfort One full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Quality Product
Base hourly with commission is great if you are in a store with good flow
Generous vacation and sick days: good luck being granted their use.

Cons

They like to save money by having the fewest possible amount of workers at each location. This leads to overwork with no margins for emergencies or unseen events. This also leads to playing fast and loose with the worker's safety having 1 person to open or close only--- often with only one person working in slower locations for an entire shift with no breaks.

    Pros

Family Oriented Atmosphere. Great training and some dedicated employees. There are many different stores through out the area and they all have a different vibe and inventories. Great benefits, training and a very generous owner. very dedicated management.

    Cons

There can be long hours, but that should be expected as a Manager. Sometimes, inventory isn't what salespeople would like it to be, but it can be hard to predict what a store will need. Salaries vary for every employee and are not to be talked about.

    Advice to Management

Make it easier to ask for a raise. Improve stores decor, like rugs, seating and color of slat walls; it would add such value to the high priced (but well worth it) items being sold.
