    Pros

Awesome program that truly helps children and families
    Competitive pay scales
    Flexible Schedule
    Great co-workers and supervisors
    Agency transparency

    Cons

You have to take reduction in force days without pay. The program is funded by a federal grant, so there is not much job security.

    Advice to Management

Continue to recognize great work of employees. I can't think of any more feedback, because our program has a strong leadership team.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Community Action Partnership of North Alabama full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Enjoy the kiddos. They can be the brightest point in my day.

Teachers are supportive to each other and will often "tag-team" a behavior issue to calm the child down. It's definitely a community, in that aspect.

    Cons

Not allowed to discipline in any way, shape, form, or fashion when a child hurts another or is overly disruptive to the class only to be told to acquiesce to their demands.

Bathroom breaks are when you can get them.

    Advice to Management

Back up your staff and they will move mountains for you. Learn another "discipline technique" other than saying "thank you for not running on shelves" while the child runs across said shelves. Common sense.
