Pros

- There's one. Sometimes the owner (I think he's the owner) stops by the office. He makes a note to come to every single persons desk and say hello. It's very admirable.

Cons

During my time here I worked as both a field expeditor and a pilot expeditor in both San Bernardino and Torrance. Tl;dr: I was miserable every moment of every day that I worked at this job. I genuinely felt myself falling into a depression. If you need a job, this is okay TEMPORARILY. Here are detailed notes regarding my experience here. 1. The job itself: o If you’re lucky, you’ll spend two weeks training with Ben. (great guy.) Most likely, they’ll just sit you next to a current employee and have you shadow them. They can’t really teach or explain anything to you because they’re still busy trying to reach their quota for the day. o If you do something wrong, even if it was never taught to you, it’s your fault. o You WILL be written up. It doesn’t matter how good of an employee you are. It WILL happen. o You MUST be in the office, at your desk, by 5:30 am. If you are even 1 minute late, they’ll mark you as tardy and write you up. You will also be berated for it. o You will be expected to do overtime every single day, even though it won’t be stated in your interviews. o You will follow a specific script always. There is no autonomy whatsoever. o You are not allowed to use your cell phone for any reason whatsoever. (like you’re in high school again.) 2. Coworkers: o If your coworkers are cool you’ll never know.. because you’re not allowed to talk to each other AT ALL during work hours. o You will be scolded if you’re talking for more than 15 seconds 3. Management o You’ll have your team lead, who’s “group” you’ll be on, your supervisor, and the director. The team leads are genuinely trying their best. They’re incredibly helpful and patient. It doesn’t matter though, because if anything wrong ever happens it’ll be your fault and yours alone. o Management keeps a tight leash on everyone. It feels like you’re on a slave assembly line with your bosses hoarding over your every action 4. Job Perks o There are none. They do NOT offer good benefits. o Turnover rate is very high. So much so that they generally just hire temps from Kelly Services o There is no morale whatsoever. (For your "Christmas party," you'll still come in at 5:30 am, still work a half shift and then walk down the street for a small lunch.) o Don’t forget, the pay is low.

Pros

Working at this company has been an incredibly rewarding experience. One of the things I value most is the culture of self‑drive and independence. Employees are encouraged to take initiative and think proactively - something that has helped me grow both professionally and personally. The environment is also highly supportive of self‑motivation. Team members are trusted to manage their workload, set goals, and push themselves toward continuous improvement. That level of trust has made me feel confident in stretching my skills and diving deeper into responsibilities within my role. Another major strength of the organization is the abundance of learning opportunities. Whether it’s through on‑the‑job experience, cross‑department collaboration, or internal training sessions, there is always something new to learn. And of course, the leadership team deserves recognition. Our leaders are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to the company’s success and the growth of the people who work here.

Cons

Workload can fluctuate. Some periods get especially busy, which can require strong time‑management. Varying communication styles can affect team dynamics. Constant evolving processes - certain systems are being refined so it requires extra flexibility and adaptation Lack of curiosity and self-drive will make day-to-day challenging.
