Pros

Benefits are better than some competitors.
They work with a lot of clients, so there are many contract opportunities available.
Most of the recruiters are easy to work with.
Resource managers are helpful and responsive.

Cons

For the same contracts, they sometimes do not pay quite as much as some of the newer agencies.
They do not put much effort into finding you a new contract when your existing one is nearing its end.

Advice to Management

Encourage the recruiters to make more effort to retain existing contractors. Perhaps some small reward for reassigning people coming off a contract might be helpful.

    Pros

I get to work from home. I get along with most of my co-workers. It provides an overall decent learning experience if you are new to the IT field.

    Cons

Insufficient wages and raises. Employee performance is not recognized. There really is not any room for growth. Insufficient communications between management and employees.

    Advice to Management

Make your employees want to stay with you. Offer incentives and give them to the people who deserve them. The help desk analysts are the face of the company, and the reason that you keep your contracts. Give them the opportunity to move up if they perform well, and not just lousy ZAP points, which are basically useless.

    Pros

    You get benefits from company.

    Cons

No growth within the company even you get promoted to a different position. They always do parallel moves and their reason is it is in the same salary range bracket.

    Advice to Management

For the mid-level managers: Please do not take all the credits of your team because without them you will not achieve your goals. A good leader is a good follower.
