Pros

Generous vacation allowance
Usually able to take holidays off
Co-workers are helpful and talented

Cons

Company has you sign into PC - 30 minutes or more before they start paying you to work
When the company lays off the severance package is meager and has strings attached
Company does not allow you to log off until very end of shift. Thus you are usually doing unpaid overtime as you have to finished with the last customer.
Company goes years without giving anyone a raise. When raises are given they are stingy.

Advice to Management

Give long term employees better raises. After all no one is kept long term unless they perform.

    Pros

    The work is steady. If you can tolerate the cons, you can dig yourself a nice comfortable rut here.

    Cons

    There have been no pay raises or cost of living increases for the workers in many, many years. Morale is extremely low and management consistently blames this on poor employee attitudes. Employees are being paid in 2004 wages while the higher-ups are rewarded with bonuses and pay increases regularly.
    Meanwhile employees are treated as if they are faceless and expendable (which they basically are, considering that most tech processes are completely automated by scripts and most other jobs at this site are warehouse labor).
    The building is poorly maintained, the benefits get slashed yearly, and there is no advancement potential here AT ALL.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees with a little more respect before you demand that they improve their morale.
