I have been working at CompuCom as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

Got my foot in the door as a contractor with a good company, pay is ok and benefits are quite good. Excellent opportunity to get training and certifications paid for if you put in the time and effort.

Cons

Management is pretty non-existent, only appear when there are problems. No opportunity for raises as long as you remain in the same position, regardless of the time.

Advice to Management

I have seen Compucom hire and fire dozens of unqualified people before finally finding a decent employee, you should work harder to keep the good ones.

I have been working at CompuCom full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

They will hire almost anyone. They will fire almost no one.

    Cons

Associates definitely under valued and under paid. Too margin driven of a company, even at the expense of associates. No raises or bonuses as promised in contract, even with EE (Exceeds Expectations) on yearly reviews. Does not like to promote from within, I was told to make more money leave and come back.

    Advice to Management

Care more for your employees then you currently do. Train a person you put in a management position or require them to have taken management courses before you hire them. Bullying is not tolerated in schools it shouldn't be in the work place either.

I worked at CompuCom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Team members are tech savy and helpful
    Vacation time is generous

    Cons

Company has people login and start taking calls 30-45 minutes ahead of paid time
Not allowed to log out until last call at clock out time so end up doing lots of free overtime.
Upper management has no regard for people who staff the phones
Company plans to only offer a low end medical plan for year 2015

    Advice to Management

Focus on keeping the good people and that will keep your clients happy.
