I have been working at CompuCom full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

They did offer plenty of time off but that is no longer offered. PTO isn't a factor anymore.
Train while you work! Nothing says success like hands-on training!

Cons

Pay is one of the lowest in the area.
Most employees are not brought on full-time until roughly 1-2 years of being a temp.
Advancement without pay raises is very common.
If you want a job, go to Compucom, a career, go somewhere else.

Advice to Management

Remember that the people on the desk are the ones who make CompuCom profitable. If Compucom would easily look out for there employees outside of management, there employees would look out for them and Compucom could be one of those companies people would line up for interviews. The fact that a decent percent of the employees are over-worked and under-paid doesn't help.

I worked at CompuCom full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hour long lunch, flexible schedule, good people

    Cons

Company cuts budget but increases the amount of work, their rewards system is a joke, worked here for 2 years never got my one on one review to explain my review scores which were near perfect but I never received a raise because I didn't do any training courses on my own time, company never provided time for training during work hours, town hall meetings were all a joke.

    Advice to Management

Treat your on site Intel workers better, develop a better system of rewards for them, we worked so hard but were always told we were not good enough, morale is always low in there and communicate better with us.

Great benefits, provides everything needed for the job (Transportation, Tools, Parts, etc.)

    Cons

Attempting to many projects at one time, with out clear instructions

    Advice to Management

Get to know employees better and no what knowledge they know when you hire them. If they know more then is needed for the job, help them use the knowledge to their and the companies benefit.
