Pros

(Used to be) the people (your peers), the "can do" attitude

Cons

The current senior management and atmosphere

Advice to Management

stop the politics, advance the professionals and not those that will be yes-men, let people voice opinions which are not in line with your own

    Pros

If you enjoy international travel, Comverse has a number of positions that require frequent client on-site meetings. There aren't really any other positives.

    Cons

Salaries are across the board for positions of equal responsibility, which easily becomes common knowledge via the gossip engine. Raises and bonuses are nonexistent, except for the chosen few. Middle management is chock full of people who don't apparently do anything aside from writing emails, especially in the Tel Aviv office. For example, a deployment project kickoff meeting can be attended by some twenty 'project managers', half of whom are never seen again. The other half remain, with one or two actual engineers doing the work. Politics are a heavy driver throughout the company. The saying "what color is your passport" is quite relevant whenever the inevitable round of layoffs ensues.

    Advice to Management

Based on your salary and perks, you shouldn't need advice. That's why you are paid as you are, right?
