I have been working at Conagra Brands full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Many Brands to support (provides opportunity), great pay and benefits, flexible work environment (work from home, tele-commute, etc.).

Cons

Being in the consumer goods/food industry provides challenges in terms of commodity prices, and food is a very competitive world (up against Kraft, Mondelez, Hillshire Brands).

Advice to Management

You've done a lot for all the employees, and are pretty progressive in your thinking. But need to figure out how to provide on-going support to key brands vs, trying to spread resources across all brands. Need to figure out the key to consistent growth in a turbulent environment.

I have been working at Conagra Brands full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay & Benefits. Hourly employees: ( some of the better people I have met).

    Cons

Management is disconnected from the main hourly employees. Poor communication from management to employees creates difficult work environment. Management promotion is decided not by the most skilled/qualified person but by who can make themselves look the best even if they are not qualified for the position. Conflicting policies on how to do a task create a disorganized workplace.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with your hourly employees many of them have been their for many years and have tons of experience running their equipment. If the hourly employees were listened to it would substantially increase productivity and moral.

I have been working at Conagra Brands full-time

    Pros

Work-life balance and summer hours are the most positive point.

    Cons

-Worst medical plan I have ever seen, and out of pocket is huge.
-Growth opportunity is not at all there, and lots of internal politics.
-Senior management just buying new tools irrespective of its usefulness, and later scrapping most of them as they were not able to use them properly.
    - Management don't focus on building what they have instead buy a new tool even existing system can provide all functionality what is needed.
    - Culture is not rewarding just expecting the good work.
