    Cons

Employees on the floor tend to use fake names, therefore accountability was hard to discover when you might have a customer on the phone who's account notes describe a promise to do something, and the promise was unfulfilled. However, there are many. Some customers would be irate, and perhaps a customer for 10+ years, and claim to be hacked, showing billing concerns that they never had before that always involved Roaming Charges to/from Mexico, and even if it appears as though they were hacked, the company Conduent was contracted with would in no way accept or acknowledge any possibility of the customer being hacked/cloned, so being empathetic and doing your job the way the company's corporate asks you to do it was sometimes very difficult. This ultimately led to me leaving the company; simply because the company we worked for wtihin Conduent was becomming a plague in the wireless world of CDMA/GSM. Then after I left, said company was bought by T-Mobile and that just brought all of that unethical, alleged hacking and cloning, onto a much bigger playing field. At this point, though, it really doesn't matter in 2021. We are all hacked to some extent and our information is taken and used and sold on a daily basis and there appears to be no way to avoid this except going back to non-OS, basic flip phones, and let's face it-everyone thinks they need a computing device capable of more than your average PC, in front of their faces at all times these days. On a personal note, people's disregard for concern when their phone is acting funny, or saying "I think I've been hacked" but refusing to factory reset or wipe their data, has put us into this era of no-privacy. I don't want this to shine negatively on Conduent; they really were a great company to be hired by and had no way to control what the contracting entity was causing. That entity's name was Sprint. ;)
