        Pros

I worked at CW from 2014-2020. After I left I realized what a mistake I had made. I came back in May of 2022 taking a much different position and I am so glad I did. My leadership team is amazing. I have the best colleagues and I haven't been happier!

        Cons

Non-commission position, but I knew that going in and was not wanting the stress of a quota etc.

Thank you so much for your heartwarming message – it truly made my day! I also left CW and couldn't agree more with your sentiments about returning to the ConnectWise Team. The decision to come back was undoubtedly the best move I made, and your post really resonated with me! During my time away from CW, I realized just how much I missed the incredible colleagues and the unique culture that defines our team. Your words perfectly encapsulated my feelings – we are indeed fortunate to have the most amazing leaders and the absolute best colleagues. It's a privilege to be part of a team that not only values its colleagues but also fosters an environment where everyone can thrive. Pros

The only pro was that it was WFH

          Cons

Zero coaching was done for the role - First two weeks were training on all the products, with the second one focusing on the products I'd be selling. Nothing about the customers/prospects, their problems and challenges, etc. Sales isn't about selling products, it's about solving problems. Training should be able problems, not products. Unattainable quotas - Quota was so needlessly, impossibly high that you can't help but laugh. On top of that, based on the average deal size and sales cycle length, you'd think the OTE would align with the size of the quota. Nope. It was exploitative. Too short of a ramp - Multiple managers said it would take at least six months before you start to reap what you sow. Okay, so then why was ramp only 3 months? Lack of diversity and culture - The team was probably 90% white males over the age of 40. Not enough females, whether as IC's or in leadership. All of this indicates that new reps were not set up for success. Oh, and pretty much every Connectwise customer WILL have billing issues at some point. It's an absolute mess. Some customers have been waiting on billing credits for 6+ months.

Any genuinely good way to answer the "biggest weakness" question without sounding like a cliche. Anyone have any good examples?

I interview with this place about a week and a half ago. I think it went well and in the interview she said the next step would be a writing example, so I did that. Sent it to them the day it was due and haven't heard back since. She did say any next steps would be after thanksgiving since everyone was busy and their calendars full last week. I followed up on Monday with an email, but haven't heard back. Maybe it's taking awhile or should I try again end of week? I would at least like feedback.
