I worked at Continental full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Large company, good resources, diverse jobs, diverse people, interesting projects.

    Cons

General Cons: Pay below median, benefits sub-par, Germany reigns, Germany gets the interesting work. Specific Cons: Depends on your department, could be none. In mine, and some others I knew, very over-worked. These guys will not hire appropriate staff. Also, the Motorola, Huntville, Siemens merger resulted in a "Brady Bunch" style clash of personalities, cultures, and organizations that is not being managed well.

    Advice to Management

Hard to say, they have, almost, a "Mission Impossible" or, at least, indredibly difficult. They need to A. Have the strenght to say "No" (will not deliver) to Germany and to customers and B. Address inter-personnel cultural, career goal, and interactive issues, not ignor C. Deliver with quality or else, do not deliver.
