I have been working at Continental Resources (Oklahoma) full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great place to work hard and stay busy. Lots of other great people that like to GET IT DONE ✅ Decent pay for most positions. Work hard... get paid... stay around. Company runs lean in most departments to survive tough times without layoffs, but that means you have to work hard even when things are slow to keep up.

    Cons

Lots of change driven from the top can be tough to deal with on a daily, or weekly basis. This creates some of the extra work. Several disconnects between senior levels and mid level managers and individual contributor levels.

    Advice to Management

Get aligned at senior levels. Clearly message priorities and stay with a plan for longer than 4 days.

I worked at Continental Resources (Oklahoma) full-time

    Pros

    Competitive salary and benefits package.
    Great work atmosphere

    Cons

Technical decisions are a top-down process, minimum input from the SME
Extremely lean organization at lower levels but too many SVPs, VPs, and Directors

    Advice to Management

It is a hard process if you don't know well the top levels
