I have been working at Convergys full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Different opportunities for different skill sets. Lots of people at all levels interested in what motivates you and look to help you get better. Working harder to get everyone on the same page so that everyone is treated fairly.

Cons

Growing pains are difficult to work through, but it's better then the alternative (reducing employees).

Advice to Management

Too much ego leads to not enough work getting done

    I worked at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Full training is provided to begin the position. Most people who work here have had no previous Technical support experience. Please note that this is in regards to one particular account. Convergys handles multiple accounts.

    Cons

    High employee turnover. People constantly being fired, quitting, people being rehired. Bad morale throughout. Though training is initially provided at the beginning of employment, continuing training is not provided at the same pace technology changes, leading to errors in customer support.

    I worked at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    they have a lot of good ideas throughout training

    Cons

    once you get out on the floor all of that changes. everything you were told throughout the recruiting and training process out the window. Upper management make it quiet clear that they do not care about the clients that they are servicing. It is all about the bottom dollar. No assigned seating only 3 min to clean the previous reps mess. schedule changes every 3 mo or whenever they feel like it first shift only had 12 hr notice before there shift was cut by 2 hrs a day

    Advice to Management

    start caring about the employees and the ones you have contracts with they are the ones that pay your salary its only a matter of time till one of the executives at the company get wind of this and your contract with ATT is going to be pulled.
