I have been working at Convergys part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Very organized and good managers

Cons

Too confined as far as the hours you needed to be on call. Basically 24/7

Advice to Management

Lighten up a bit on the hours you expect employees to be available.

    Pros

    Salary was ok and training paid. Allowed to do nothing between calls.

    Cons

    Job is mechanical, same steps in handling calls over and over again.Little space for creativity.
    Stressful manager.

    I worked at Convergys full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Working from home for most of the jobs. Everything is based solely out of your computer with internet access, easy to call off.

    Cons

    Static Pay (no raises), company forces an unrealistic "maintenance" policy on your personal PC. Will not reimburse you for any damaged their technicians cause to your PC via remote access. Overtime is not as available as they tell you it is in training.

    Advice to Management

    Tell your "team leaders" to all get on the same page and stop violating company's policies because they're lazy.
