Awesome people I have met thru the years.

Cons

The management needs to get their head in the game and stop micro-organizing everyone. This is why there is such a high turnover rate.

    I have been working at Convergys full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    A horrible job for some money, that is about it.

    Cons

    Manually signing up for insurance. Companies will do this for you, why do I have to do this?
    The portal site only works with IE 6 and 7. You have to actually be working to get onto the portal.
    Other sites receive more pay to do the same job.
    The job changes every few weeks, typically without notice.
    The training programs are weak, typically the trainer will get questions they don't have an answer to or make claims that this device will be onsite for us to practice with and it is not.
    The team leads are all on different pages, as if they were trained in different manners.
    There are no raises.
    There are increasingly hard to achieve bonuses.
    Advancement in the project or the company is difficult unless you're someone's favorite.
    Rotating policies that change every 2 weeks.

    Advice to Management

    Lack of training.
    Screening employees.
    Not lying to an employee about advancements, what the job you're offering really is, and changing the position on trying to balance work and school.
    Claiming to be an Information Technology position and turning out to be a billing and sales style call center.

    Pros

    It's a job. You get paid. That's about it.

    Cons

    They'll do anything to swindle you out of your bonus. Don't expect to get a raise EVER. No paid sick time. Horrible work environment. You'll be passed up for promotions because you weren't the pet. On and on.

    Advice to Management

    Ugh, you know how to fix things, you just choose not to.
