I worked at Convergys full-time (More than a year)

Pros

There are some good people that work for Convergys and pride themselves in helping people better themselves and grow with the company.

Cons

There are several managers that do not try to understand the feelings of their workers. They say they have flexible schedules, but not really unless you can get a DR note for some reason.

Advice to Management

You will retain better employees if you valued the people putting in the effort more.

    I worked at Convergys part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Decent money, good incentives, very flexible hours. Also flexible with the work you can do. If you don't like being customer service for one company, you can usually switch to another. Fast opportunity for advancement to manager.

    Cons

    Not enough contact with team members. Very little flexibility when it comes to actually helping the customer. Also customer service is just very stressful work.

    The advancement to manager seems to be because no one else wants the job. You're where customers go when they are double angry.

    Advice to Management

    Make it easier to get in contact. When I had issues, there was a chat room to go to, but it took 30 minutes sometimes before I got a reply.
