I worked at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The training was great with plenty of growth oppurtunities, flexible schedules, and pretty good benefits. I worked on a project that was work at home only, it was awesome to be able to roll out of bed and straight to work.

Cons

I never had any complaints about working for this company.

    I have been working at Convergys full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Middle management was great! Fun people to work with.

    Cons

    Goals are constantly moving targets, never good enough. If you dont hit your goals you lose your schedule bid. Upper mgmt in the site and above dont listen, they pretend like they do.. But, they really just practice standard business politics.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your people and make changes that matter and count.

    I worked at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good training - 3 weeks. However, you don't really know what you're doing til you're out on the floor.

    Cons

    I did tech support for comcast and hated just about every minute of it. We were required to sell comcast phone service to people calling in with comcast issues, on top of trying to solve their issues. On top of that we were measured on a million different things (average call length, schedule adherence, aux time, quality and many more). It felt like being in jail. After about 7 months, I got fired for maxing out my attendance points. It was a blessing.

    Advice to Management

    Try to make a company culture that makes people WANT to come to work. Also, be more flexible with schedules.
