Current Employee - Product Manager in Chicago, IL
Recommends
Approves of CEO

Pros

- Several opportunities to make a difference as the focus is on scaling the business
- Management and cross-teams do an excellent job of recognizing contributors
- Smart folks who care about what they do and have great ideas on how to make it even better
- Good pay and benefits

Cons

- Complex execution demands a longer learning curve, still need more documentation and formal training (has improved over the past year, but still room for improvement)
- Goals not formalized so sometimes difficult to understand how each team is contributing to the bigger picture and the alignment of day to day activities with the company goals
- So many opportunities it can be difficult to prioritize

Advice to Management

More communication from Senior Leadership Team throughout the organization. It seems the information does not float downstream though the team meets regularly.

    Extreme workload
No work life balance - (be prepared to work around the clock)
Cheap accommodations, be prepared to be sitting (literally) on top of your other employees.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

How convenient a handful of rave reviews suddenly appear on this site, all at once. Nice try, public relations committee.

Dotomi is OK. Not great, not horrible. The group of people here are smart and enjoyable. They have attracted high talent in most departments.

    Cons

Unfortunately many teams are overworked and overwhelmed, untrained and unhappy. This is contradictory to how intelligent most employees are, individually.

    Advice to Management

What's the point? They won't listen.
