Pros

they have good job openings, able to get another better pay job very quickly, and the managment seems to care about training, quality of the product, work condtions.

Cons

Some of the things that arent too good are working on a pay scale percent system. Working 2.5 years to go from 75% to 100% seemed unfair, and now have to work another 3.5 to get Cola. I knew what i was getting into when i got the job so i guess i cant complain. And now the new hires coming in now well never see 100% nor cola will only keep the really good workers away.

Advice to Management

Put the money back into the real workers, Let everyone have a chance to get cola, get to 100% . I could see if the company wasnt making any money but when you see the ceos, big bosses etc getting raising, getting million dollar bonuses because of profits , its discouraging to know some pay guy is killing himself making peanuts getting the tires made`.

    Pros

Cooper tire is a good paying job and I like the idea of working 2 days on and 2 days..

    Cons

Not really much to say about the cons of working at Cooper tire..it's hard work but it's worth it..If you can't handle it go work at Buger King..

    Advice to Management

all machines that do the same job should have the same rate. When machine A can only get 5 hours over production in a 12 hour workshift and macine B can get up to 12 hours over production in a 12 shift. It doesn't seem fair. when both machines make the same amount of cuts is a 12 hr shift.. Operators have advised their Superiors but are ignored or over looked..

    Pros

Strong solid company wish was more people friendly and shared bonus with all the employees instead of just salary employees sad hourly employees can not purchase the tires they make.....

    Cons

12 hours is hard sometimes and the low pay doesn't equal to rising cost

    Advice to Management

Stop showing Favoritizm and people will show more respect back to many older employee getting away with being bullies need to allow them to leave so new employees can work in peace
