I worked at Core Laboratories full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits.. maybe??? Experience in oilfield. Lots of networking opportunities.

Office environment is worse than 10th grade high school with all the politics and inappropriate interpersonal relations. Plenty of nepotism and hiring friends. Plenty of favoritism. Advice to Management

Maintain a friendly work environment. Use people to their skills and potential rather than favor select few. In every single business ethics text or HR text there is a statement along the lines of : "Happy employees = Productive Employees = Profitable Company"

    Pros

Easy money if you do not have a degree

    Cons

If you have a degree, do not waste your time here. There is not growth opportunity at all and they can fire you anytime of the oil does down.

    Advice to Management

Management staff are very disorganized and will not teach you how to perform work correctly.
