I worked at Core-Mark full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Paychecks are received in a timely manner.

Cons

The work environment is very hostile. The inconsistant rules are frustrating. Management is often as immature as the unprofessional employees.

Advice to Management

Require professionalism in the office and enforce common courtesy.

    I worked at Core-Mark full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Co- workers, health benefits. Weekends off(most of the time).

    Cons

    Everything else. If you have worked for any other company you will soon find out they are one the worst companies out there. You work all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. The companies pays for little and expects you to pay any other misc-job related expenses. You work long hours(expect 10 hr) for the pay you receive is miniscule. Upper mgnt. couldn't give 2 craps about you. If you make a minor mistake, they expect you to fix it, even that requires you to drive 2 hours out of your way, rent a moving truck, or work on your days off. I am A LOT HEALTHER now if am gone . BEWARE!!

    Advice to Management

    You either have people who are power-hungry narcissists or people who only care about the bottom line so you can collect your bonus. Until then the exodus will continue and you continue to bring in garbage

    There are none. Management doesn't had a clue.

    Cons

    Pay is pathetic. Incentive/bonuses pretty much non-existent

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees. Bring the salaries into this century.
