Positive Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at CoreLogic full-time (More than a year)

Pros

1) Work hours are flexible
2) Well architected software product and the chance to be exposed to diverse and interesting software technologies.

Cons

1) Scrum process is asphyxiating and does not give the latitude to the developer to do more interesting types of work.
2) Benefits are below average.
3) Not exciting place to work because Dorado is under the umbrella of a larger company which is not software oriented.

I have been working at CoreLogic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you appreciate working with property data - you'll like CoreLogic.

    Cons

Operationally the business is flawed - roll-outs are premature - and you have to talk to many to be sure what data elements are correct or available.

    Advice to Management

Make it easier to get contracts signed. Upgrade the skills of people managers - Consider selling the business.. better than laying off tons of workers and disapointing customers

I worked at CoreLogic full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

CoreLogic Austin has some excellent, dedicated employees who are working hard under very difficult circumstances. North Austin location with free parking.

    Cons

In the past few years, the company has shrunk from approximately 500 employees to under 200, primarily due to outsourcing (India), layoffs due to cost cutting efforts, and moving positions to corporate in the Dallas area. Environment of fear as employees wonder if their job will go next. No 401K plan and a once adequate health care plan has been severely downgraded.
