I worked at Corinthian Colleges full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Some coworkers are easy to get along with.

Cons

The "who knows" philosophy of what is happening with the company. The frequent movement of management from campus to campus provides little stability and cohesiveness.

Advice to Management

Clean house up top and restructure the bottom. Be a pioneer, don't just follow what everyone else is doing.

    Pros

A paycheck, which isn't saying much. Literally, getting paid is the only pro. However, it comes at the cost of deceiving students and looking out for the company's interest over the students'.

    Cons

Everything from management, structure, and hiring politics. Management are hired based on who they know and not what they know. Here, a police office can be hired as a Regional, making approximately 6 figures without any experience in education.

    Advice to Management

You don't need to be in management

I have been working at Corinthian Colleges full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Laid back culture, good departmental leadership at my location, generally promote from within

    Cons

Recent cutting of merit based incentives and benefits, limited opportunity for advancement. In constant state of flux in an attempt to become more profitable amid ever tightening government regulations on proprietary education. Employee recognition and professional development is severely lacking.Hires uneducated and underqualified staff members and fails to provide adequate training. High turnover in senior leadership in concerning.

    Advice to Management

Communication from corporate is muddled and inconsistent. Mid-level management becomes the messenger of constant organization change/restructuring.
