I have been working at Corrections Corporation of America full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Longevity and leading position in the industry. Hardworking people who begin with the best intentions but become jaded or just getting by after years of not getting rewarded.

Cons

Good ole boys network based on who you know, not what you know. Lots of talk about employee engagement and liking each other for who we all are, but not enough evidence to back up the chatter. Low pay in general. Diminishing benefits.

I worked at Corrections Corporation of America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the best reasons to work at CCA was the feeling of accomplishment; meet new people, learning professiolism, the pay and the benefits.

    Cons

The hard-headed inmates. Getting inmates up during early mornings to go to pill-call or medical. Inmates acting worse than children. Some of your co-workers being un-professional around the inmates etc.

    Advice to Management

Listen to workers regarding their concerns and problems with the inmates.

Thank you for your comment however the CCA you are looking for is a completely separate company to this one, we are CCA International based in Paris, London and across Europe.
