    I worked at County of Riverside full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    This company does alot of community service and always doing a fund raiser for something which helps boost morale. The benefit package is really competitive and plenty of room for advancement. Communication throughout the different departments is very good and most people work well as a team. Management (most of them) do not make you feel as if you are slave workers, they work right along with you and want what is best for the company as a whole not out for self advancment.

    Cons

    The cons would be you have a wonderful health package that you cannot use because you cannot get time off to go to the doctor's office and have to put in so far for vacation time that may or may not get approved depending on your seniority level in the company.

    Advice to Management

    Keep encouraging volunteer work, put in place shared time so you can take off for doctors appointments or child events, when an employee puts in their notice to leave do not treat them as if they are no longer part of the "housing family" continue to care about them as valued members of a team so that they leave happy.
