I worked at Cox Communications full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great family of co-workers to have. This is what actually gets you through the day and allows you to cope with the craziness that goes on.

Cons

No 2 systems are alike. You may follow a certain procedure in 1 system and another system does something completely different.

Advice to Management

Be honest and forth coming with staff. Don't start a procedure that hinders your employees from making the most they can on commission only to later say that the process that you made mandatory is not helping and allowing growth for the company.

I worked at Cox Communications full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Information learned while in training was helpful for real world examples and different techniques.

    Cons

The person in charge of training for this class was Terrible. If there was something anyone did not understand, they would basically embarrass them by speaking very loudly and repeating what was asked. Instead of directly helping them to understand the information. I don't understand how a company or person would expect someone to be successful once training is completed, with such this type of behavior.

    Advice to Management

Trainees may need to be thoroughly reviewed on how others are treated.
