I worked at Cox Communications full-time (More than a year)

Pros

There is plenty of room for advancement, you get thoroughly trained on everything you need to know out in the field. Supervisors treat you well and are fair and promote from within.

Cons

Got an old truck to work in with doors on the side that didn't close well but since then they may have upgraded. Also aggravated customers but don't let that ruin your day.

Advice to Management

Make sure you are rewarding for work that is done well and try to keep a positive cool attitude if your having a bad day.

    Discount on CABLE TV Internet and Telephone

    Cons

    Management ..The "TEAM "creates total Anxiety and Stress in the department bully the staff on a daily basis . Training is not offered as they show savings within their budget to the directors and vice presidents , this kills the moral and also limits the staff in its abilities to support the network .Managers and Supervisors cannot support staff in a outage situation and are told from Vice presidents to "get off the dance floor and manage from the balcony "

    Advice to Management

    Training . you need trainng and people skills . Take care of your staff and it will take care of you . Stop micromanaging every process , wouldn't you like to sleep at night ?
