I worked at CredAbility full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good in terms of helping those under financial stress. I also enjoyed working with some of my co-workers. I liked providing follow up (IN) budget calls.

    Cons

HR gave the illusion that we would be making some impact in the lives of those seeking counseling but the overwhelming majority of the sessions that I handled were online and for pre-filing bankruptcy. The people seeking counseling for bankruptcy just did it as a formality. They required a four-year degree for counselors but you really didn't need one because the work for the most part was repetitious and boring. Also, they tend to not promote current counselors for manager positions.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within before going out. The counselors currently working would know the ins and outs of the organization better than someone off the street so to speak.
