I have been working at Credit Acceptance full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Leadership promptly recognizes employee effort and provides ample opportunities for career advancement. I got promoted twice within 1.5 years of employment.
Lots of opportunities to learn business processes, experienced team members are very humble and always happy to share knowledge.
Very friendly and approachable managers, great team culture and positive work environment. Bureaucracy and Corporate politics do not exist here.
Work from home facilities, flexible hours, and great work life balance, clear expectations from leadership.

Cons

Too many changes in the IT department in a short period of time - however higher management puts lot of effort for smooth transition.

Advice to Management

Collections Application leadership rocks - all the managers in this team are champions.

    Pros

    Excellent product, training and company culture.
    Allowed to do my job without being micromanaged.
    Great benefits package with car allowance, 401k match and uncapped commission.
    Promotes from within.

    Cons

    The CRM was built from within and doesn’t always work like it’s supposed to.
    KPIs are challenging if you’re not prepared to work hard.
    Not always quick to make changes, too conservative at times.

    Pros

    It had great company values and made strong efforts to stand by them

    Cons

    Having such wonderful values makes it difficult to meet expectations individually and as a company.
    Additionally, I'm unsure if this was usual practice, but when terminating an employee it is appropriate if there is historical documentation to support the claims for termination.

    Advice to Management

    Properly communicate to staff before terminating an investment.
