There is tremendous partnership and collaboration in the information technology area. The day-to-day environment, while pressured, is generally friendly and mutually supportive.
Cons
- A layer of C-suite management was added to IT in 2022; they are apparently so highly paid that key workers-bees left in 2022 or are being laid off in 1Q23. - IT changes collaboration tools (Skype, Slack, Teams, etc.) so frequently that time is wasted switching from tool to tool.
