Pros
The benefits at CS are top notch and very affordable. The 401(k) contribution is salary tiered and typically around 7-8% of base salary with 3 year graded vesting schedule (vests 1/3rd each year), 3 medical plans (2 high deductible plans that pairs with HSA and 1 low deductible plan) - the cost is salary tiered and the least expensive plan for family coverage is very affordable at $100/mo. Vacation for AVP's and up starts at 4 weeks + 10 sick days. 20 weeks of parental leave paid @ 100%. Up to 3 month paid sabbatical leave after 5 years of service. Onsite health clinic My immediate team is great and the hybrid work schedule allows me the flexibility I need/want and I have a great work/life balance.
Cons
CS is very siloed and cross-functional and cross-departmental collaboration is not natural or wanted, thus obtaining information from other teams is very challenging and bureaucratic, requiring multiple levels of approval in order for you to do your job. Senior managment (MDR) does not communicate well or show it cares for it's employees.
