    Pros

The job was almost perfect. The ability to make decisions and be a creative problem solver is fantastic. There is an immediate level of resposibility and great deal of muli-tasking required for success - also something that I loved. The benefits were good and compensations above others in the market.

    Cons

The downside was that I was not allowed to take time off without a lot of drama. This is not a diverse company, they do not embrace or encourage minorities to hold managment positions. Unfortunately, this seems to be company wide. There is also a culture of elitism that is dominant in some of the buildings, but not all buildings - others are great. It really depends on where you are and who the property managers are.

    Advice to Management

Senior management should spend some time at the property level and investigate issues when things come up so they can see and understand where the real problems are.

I worked at Crescent Real Estate full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people to work for, have good benefits and compensation. You could take problems to other departments and managers and expect them to listen.

    Cons

The sale to Morgan Stanley was a difficult transition for employees. While the company did its best to limit the loss of jobs, it could have been communicated better.
