I worked at Cricut part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Paid well for a part-time student with tuition reimbursement. Good on-call skills to build from. Very friendly and helpful management!

    Cons

Customer support is always a pain. You're mainly dealing with older women who are either happy or really upset. Some days are roller coasters. It can be incredibly busy to the point where you really don't get a breather. Even though management is very helpful and nice, the product(s) are very in-depth and there's an expectation to know ALL the products well (which isn't bad of them but it's tough if you're part-time).

    Advice to Management

Continue to be nice, helpful, and understanding of team members!

    Pros

Overall Cricut is a great company to work for. Could have been there long term because of where the company is going. Lots of great things happening and fun to be a part of. Free food, celebrate birthdays, PTO, employee discount, tuition reimbursement, paid paternity leave, etc. Fun, fast paced environment. Growing like crazy and doing good things. It's definitely a product you can get behind and believe in. I felt like...

    Cons

Unethical things happening in a department that should know better and should be setting a good example for everyone. Upper management turns a blind eye to it because they don't want the company to take a hit.

I worked at Cricut full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

There really aren't any. The company has very few leaders that care.

    Cons

You want to know how you can tell the five star reviews may not be what they seem ask to see their benefits plan. It is one of the worst, expensive and doesn't cover much,, but in the planted reviews, it says great benefits most of the time. They give very little PTO to the hourly employees, even after working there five years, still only under three hours per pay period. Tell me how that is a great benefits package.

    Advice to Management

Get a real benefits package to offer to your employees. Take care of those that have stayed with you a long time. Most companies that an employee stays with for more than 5 years is getting 5 hours at least of PTO per pay period.
