    There was no room for advancenment, no trust, no respect.

    Remember that not all employees are robots and for that reason you can't just look down on them.

    Pros

    Ability to gain experience in different area's of management. Allows for development of skill set to work with diverse work force. Provides strong fundamental (hands on training) for managers to effectively direct employees. Good training structure for regulatory compliance. Opportunities for growth and relocation nationwide.

    Cons

    Financial pressures undermine staff performance, morale and overall working conditions. Inadequate staffing models to effectively ensure client and patient satisfaction. Fear based tactics to "engage" managerial/ hourly staff. Redundant amount of paper work detracts from ability of high performing managers to connect and become engaged with hourly staff. Inadequate communication between levels of management concerning overall goals and tangible implementation of achievable action plan. Imbalance regarding required work hours and compensation.

    Advice to Management

    While financial performance is important it cannot be the only factor. Maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction within the company would ensure that the staff has a common higher goal to serve our patients and clients. Ensure that staffing models are adequately reviewed and hiring practices allow for efficiently counteract employee turnover.
