I have been working at Crowe full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Very flexible work environment, with the ability to work remotely as needed. The company also strives to push career advancement of every employee. One hour a day is used for education and career growth. Also, named one of Forbes top places to work!

Cons

After one year of working for Crowe Horwath, I can honestly say I have no cons to report on as of this time!

Advice to Management

Keep it up!

    I worked at Crowe full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    * Public accounting experience
    * Learning what management techniques motivate people and what techniques do not.

    Cons

    * Current audit software was internally developed and is a consistent work in process.
    * Partners are sales focused only under Jim Powers and have left the client development segment up to the managers, that normally pass the buck to the seniors.
    * Managers to Staff are graded on hours worked rather than quality of work and current client engagement.
    * Cast (Mostly Non-Accountants) are hired in at low salaries and expected to perform 40% of engagements to bring up the realizations.
    * Experienced, loyal employees are being let go in order to improve financials, leaving inexperienced teams. (This has been going on since 2016)
    * Partners are in a disarray as they do not all buy into the firm's future.
    * Employee moral is extremely low
