I worked at Cushman & Wakefield as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Exceptional and knowledgeable brokers that are fun to work with and couple humor with professionalism perfectly.

Cons

Behind the time technologically and struggle to evolve due to the industry's reliance on face-time and presence.

I worked at Cushman & Wakefield full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

C&W has a good brand, is well known in the industry and looks good on your resume

    Cons

    **Infrastructure is broken beyond repair
**Technology is archaic - up-to-date technology does not exist at this organization (everything is done manually)
**In order for this company to be fully functioning and successful they really need to invest in the infrastructure (i.e., HR, Finance, etc.) and look at how business is conducted in those departments (360 degree performance reviews are necessary with managers)
**Management does not have any loyalty to employees
**Internal mobility is not supported within this organization (promoting within or moving departments)
**There is no succession planning, training and/or development (they try to say they do, but the reality is, they don't)
**Only if you are in a position of power or have any visibility will you be listened to (especially in the Corporate Departments - HR, Finance, etc.)
**HR only sides with management - they do not try and help the employee (do not go to them for advice or any issues)
**Work environment and culture is volatile
**There is no human side to this company anymore - really lacking in compasion and missing a sensitivity chip
    **Moral is awful!!!!

    Advice to Management

    **Talk to your employees
**Send out a "pulse check" on the environment - even though employees will not be honest because everyone is so fearful of losing their jobs
**C&W current culture is lacking compassion and a heart

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

There is the potential to make money if you play your cards right.

    Cons

Too many "relational" hires and not enough merit based advancement.

    Advice to Management

Replace upper management (who've been flocking to rival brokerages) with forward thinkers rather than ego-maniacal brokers.
