I worked at Cvent full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - The people who work at Cvent are the "secret sauce" that helps the company succeed and make it so much fun to work there. You'll really enjoy your colleagues - Senior Leadership is pretty brilliant & knows exactly how to make Cvent continue to succeed/grow - Sales leadership, structure, & resources are top-notch. Their Solutions are also really strong & well-respected in the space - They have a pretty wide US/International presence, so there is a strong chance you'll have an office near you or can work remote

    Cons

    - I loved working at Cvent - but they're pretty cheap when it comes to Salary. Benefits are solid, but their Sales salaries are below what other SaaS companies offer - Cvent has lost some of its start-up "ethos" as it's grown to 4,000+ employees and has become much more a "corporate machine." If that's your sort of thing, then you'll enjoy the stability. The trade-off is that you're dealing with a lot more process, restrictions, and capped career/pay ceiling - You're expected to work really hard. While I never saw that as a negative, be sure you're setting proper expectations going into this job. Work/life balance has always been something that Cvent's sales team has struggled with managing over the years

    I worked at Cvent

    Pros

Got to work with the overall team to better understand the day by day . Opportunity to meet with senior management time and time again to help you develop

    Cons

The internship is nothing like the full time role they say they are preparing you for
