Pros

-Very easy and low stress

Cons

- They threaten disciplinary action if you use the bathroom when you don't have one of your two breaks available. Better hold it in! Make sure you never need to use the restroom more than twice in 8 hours. Just dehydrate yourself a bit. Seriously? - Mindnumingly repetitive. You basically do the same 30 second task on repeat for 8 hours for months at a time - They basically run this like a bad call center

Sorry to hear you are not enjoying working at Cyclomedia. We acknowledge the DEA role is repetitive and are clear about that during the recruiting process. We promote within for all advanced roles within the extraction floor so there are opportunities to grow beyond the DEA position. As for breaks, we offer 15 mins paid break for each 4 hours an employee works and a 30-minute unpaid lunch for 6 or more hour work shift. We allow employees to split up their 15 mins paid in any way they like; for example, employees can take three 5-minute breaks or split into 2 breaks with a 5- and 10-min break. We do encourage employees to use this time to rest their eyes, stretch, get fresh air, get a drink, snack, and/or use the restroom. We take pride in our Company by ensuring each employee is treated fairly and equally. If you have an accommodation request, please reach out to HR to engage in an interactive process with your physician regarding ADA.

Pros

My incredible and extremely knowledgeable coworkers.

Cons

I had no issues with this company for a long time and genuinely enjoyed working here until recently. Lately though, management has become increasingly disconnected from hourly employees. There’s constant micromanagement, poor communication, last-minute schedule changes, and massive last minute projects with unrealistic expectations and little to no appreciation afterward. What really hurt morale was seeing how disposable employees are treated despite promises of stability and opportunity. The pay does not match the workload or stress, and from what I’ve seen, many positions don’t even meet national average pay rates for similar work. Leadership feels completely out of touch with the reality of the people actually doing the work, and employees are expected to constantly sacrifice their time and energy while being treated as easily replaceable.
