Pros

Challenging and interesting work until you realize you have so much that you cant dig yourself out from under it.

Cons

Work/life balance only exists on the Release Management calendar. It is taken away by the exemptions that never fail to get approved. Oh and by the way....the numbers in timetiger arent't correct except for people who have given up and are looking for another job.

Advice to Management

Fair compensation for hours worked is deserved by your employees who work so many hours to be successful under this workload. Speak the truth about employee retention if you're not going to make the changes to stop losing so many good people.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

good if you are more about politics and less about actual development.
good starter place to learn about financial services.
flex hours, nobody cares if you come in an hour late or so

    Cons

The mississauga office is too chaotic, every developers seems to be wanting to do whatever they like, poor moral of management and a lot of turnover.
company has been in restructuring mood for a while meaning anytime your job can change or simply disappear. Politics is a norm, as a result honest hard working
developers suffer. bad for those who are starting out their career. sadely the management tries to create a facade by saying things like "there is a lot of work
needing to be done", or "We are hiring more people" dont fall for those, those are gotchas. management looks for easy preys. if your manager doesnt like you
be prepared to sort things out directly or he can simply let you go under the "Restructuring" label. I saw 3 team leads leave from my branch. senior devs would
encourage to "look busy". bottom line people have left the company and rejoined under a different position, if you dont care about moral and douche managers then its a good place to gain some valable experience and use it as a stepping stone.

    other observations
under paid staff all round, hear people complaining about low salary and being worked like donkeys
