Pros

They cared about teaching the interns every aspect about the company, worked with student schedules, and the employees were always willing to work with you if you needed help.

Cons

Only con would be that internships are not paid.

I worked at D Magazine Partners (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a great inundation to the world of magazines in the 21st century. The people were friendly and offered wonderful advice on getting a media job in today's market. My intern class was a great group of people.

    Cons

I was an intern and unpaid. It wouldn't be different anywhere else but you might be given more work than is possible on one day and then have nothing to do the next.

    Advice to Management

Consistency is key. Also, consider hiring fewer interns if it meant getting to pay them! I would have done my program again had I not had to pretty much pay out of pocket to work there!

I worked at D Magazine Partners as an intern

    Pros

Creative and flexible work environment, interns are allowed to do a lot

    Cons

Some upper management is ridiculously (and annoyingly) intimidating, in an unnecessary kind of way
