I have been working at DICK'S Sporting Goods part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - 25% discount, occasional 50% off of certain products
    - I like a lot of my coworkers
    - Bonuses for credit card signups ($10 for every 5) and warranties (3%)

    Cons

    - Low pay
    - Too much stress on metrics makes it stressful as a cashier
    - Personally, I think we're understaffed // payroll always seems to be an issue
    - No reward for getting employee or defender of the month

    Advice to Management

If we have a bad Scorecard percentage but get many Scorecard signups, don't say we're not trying. We are connected to the mall and the Dick's closest to many urban cities (e.g. East Boston, Chelsea, Lynn), so we're going to get a lot of immigrants and random one-timers. If it's that important, I think there should be an incentive. 5¢ or 10¢ for each Scorecard signup sounds reasonable especially knowing now that getting customers' e-mails profits the company.
