Pros

Great communication with employees. Benefits are great, especially compared to similar positions.

Cons

Advancement opportunities are rare. Middle management is very inexperienced and lacks direction and focus.

    I worked at DIRECTV full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Plenty of opportunities too increase base pay monthly. Perks include free equipment and all the channels they offer including NFL Sunday Ticket and other sports premiums ( nearly $3,000 annually to purchase). Health benefits are also strong.

    Cons

    Difficult to move in any direction other than lateral. Pay not commiserate with education level and skill set of many employees which is most often not utilized or even recognized.

    Advice to Management

    Tap employees in all areas for ideas. Allow for easier more transparent methods for employees to share thoughts and ideas.

    Good benefits, pension after 3 years, plenty of hours and management does seem to be constantly trying to improve work environment.

    Cons

    Lower pay (when compared to other like companies), steep competition make promotions few and far between.
