Current Employee - Project Manager in El Segundo, CA
Approves of CEO

Pros

Free tv, benefits, compensation, bonuses

Cons

very political, too many sr. managers will never get promoted so those jobs are tied up indefinitly by people that are not capable. They need to promote from within more and develop a clear process that everyone has to follow to be promoted. Too much over head

Advice to Management

Stop playing games and listen to the people who do the work, this not hughes anymore.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Competitive pay, vehicle and gas provided and take home, tools provided, 401k, pension plan, complimentary Premier package and Receivers, Company matched Donations

    Cons

work most holidays, work weekends, Management selected by favoritism not competitiveness, you call out due to illness and taking truck home privilege is taken away for 2 weeks and suspension, not being able to spend time with family, mandatory meetings with one day notice and mandatory 6 day work weeks with short notice, Supervisors trying to make themselves look good by giving write ups over anything. you can't even cough in a meeting or be stuck in traffic.

    Advice to Management

Please select supervisors by the persons competitiveness not by favoritism and snitching. Supervisors should not spy on workers because it just makes it an unconfortable and unsafe situation when the supervisor is trying to hide half way down the street and makes you nervous(i.e. Valentin Orozco) This guy is just trying himself look good by snitching about anything to site managers, Like someone arriving at 8:03 am to their first job due to traffic, not getting customers to sign landlord waiver when not required because they are the homeowners. Please Chase Carey you are the leader so have the sites reviewed and make some changes , maybe test everry tech on their knowledge of system troubleshooting and Installation and promote the techs to supervisory based on what they know.
