I worked at DISH full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

at least they pay you something

Cons

low pay
forced to subscribe to dish or be fired, even if you can't get service from your home
draconian management techniques
lowest morale I have ever seen
being forced to work 16 hour days
having your job threatened every single day
impossible goals
forced to be a salesman for no compensation
extreme micromanagement of every aspect of job

Advice to Management

treat your techs with some respect and trust instead of telling them how worthless and replaceable they are and maybe they'll care about the company.

    Cons

payed time off is limited, and does not roll into a new year for more then 3 months.
    mandatory overtime at their discretion.
inflexibility on the admonitory overtime, if you need it off use your paid days off.
working more does not give you more days off.
    sick days count against you
the odds of a new employee lasting 2 years is 4 out of 60
the odds of a new employee lasting 4 years plus is 2 out of 120
some dish sites have terminated more employees then a small town in 1 year.
pay is based on what city they are located in.
Goals are hard to hit every time.
dish expects 100%,100% of the time yet don't give it back, in-less you are going to die or someone is dead direct family only, then you can have some time off.
Work load and stress at dish has increased three fold and so has the work load
you never know when your time will be up.

    Advice to Management

don't push your employees into corners, dish has changed so much for the worst.
